Goodstuff Farms Winery

Goodstuff Farms is a proposed winery and local agricultural food processing facility located in the heart of the Santa Ynez Valley, near Solvang, California. It’s thoughtfully designed to support and enhance the site’s apple orchard. The project allows the owners to share their passion for apple wine, baked goods, and smoked meats with the local community, creating a place where production, hospitality, and agriculture come together.

Architecturally, the project draws inspiration from historic agrarian buildings, emphasizing honest materials, simple forms, and functionality, while introducing a level of elegance and refinement to the previous barn. Warm wood cladding, stone walls, exposed steel elements, and covered outdoor spaces create a balance between rustic character and modern comfort. Terraces, walkways, and view platforms invite visitors to engage with the orchards and surrounding hills, reinforcing a strong relationship between the built environment and the landscape. Designed to be both welcoming and authentic, Goodstuff Farms reflects a contemporary interpretation of agricultural architecture that honors tradition, supports local production, and fosters a meaningful sense of community in the Santa Ynez Valley.
